Christopher Dresser Egg Cup Set for Hukin and Heath
A museum quality Christopher Dresser designed egg cup cruet set made by Hukin and Heath circa 1880.
The distinctive oval shaped tray with its lipped edge stands balanced on four balled feet. To the centre is a T-bar shaped handle topped with a sphere - a classic and identifiable Dresser addition. The handle is held in position on a raised plinth that includes space to hold four spoons. The four cups that take a tapered horn shape sit proudly in place on individual pins.
All aspects of this rare silver plate set are in perfect condition.
