Antique Victorian Lidded Butter Dish with Etched Glass and Engraved Silver Plate, Dining, Walker and Hall, Sheffield England, 1860-1900

€120.00

An elegant antique Victorian butter dish made by Walker and Hall in the 2nd half of the 19th century.

The glass bowl is in perfect condition and is decorated with a repeating lattice design and has a pinched rim. The base and lid enjoy a repeating diamond shaped motif. The lid has a pineapple finial - the epitome of Victorian design.

There is some age commensurate wear around the finial and to the base. In our opinion, not a distraction.
