Antique Victorian Blue Opaline Glass Serving Dish, Dining and Entertaining, 1860s England, Rare

€95.00

A beautiful Victorian blue opaline glass and silver plate serving dish.

This piece is a classic example of Victorian glass craftsmanship. The opaline glass is thick, heavy and hand crafted. The blue hue is bright and rich and catches the light magnificently.

The silver plate stand has been pierced to let the blue glass shine through. it has two winged handles and sits on four clawed feet.

You can see in the photos, the glass has a small chip adjacent to the handle and the silver plating has dulled over time.

A special piece despite these blemishes.
