A wonderful example of an aesthetic style toast rack made by Hukin and Heath in Birmingham, circa 1890.

Presented in fantastic condition, each of the five bars have been transformed into the shape of pears. The base on which these pears sit has been formed into a large, life-like leaf. Sitting on three feet, the rack is completed with a large bulbous handle.

As seen in the photos, the silver plating shows some wear to where the toast has sat over the years but in our opinion, this does not detract from the beauty of the piece.

A great addition to your breakfast table and collection.
