Large Christopher Dresser Style Cruet Set, Roberts & Belk, Sheffield England 1901, Six Bottles

€175.00

This is a large and imposing six bottle antique cruet set.

Made by Roberts and Belk at the turn of the 20th century, it takes is design cues - the triangle handle, rectangular base and bulbous corners - from those of Christopher Dresser in the late 19th century.

Presented in great condition, there is no restoration and the glass shows no signs of damage. We acknowledge the two oil bottles are matched but not original to the set. Also, one pepper, presumably used as a salt pot, shows sodium wear to the silver plate and glass. There is some minor rubbing to the base but it is not noticeable when the bottles are in situ.

Despite these little imperfections, the set is truly impressive and would be a fantastic addition to your collection.
